School Meals

Free School Meals
Free school meal applications are made via and managed by the Local Authority, visit the relevant website page here
Once a decision has been made on your application, school will be notified and only from that date will your child be entitled to a free school meal allowance.
It is important that if you think that your child might be eligible for free school meals that you apply at the earliest opportunity, eligibility means that school might receive additional funding to support curriculum needs in the form of pupil premium grants.
The FSM allowance is currently £2.76 per day and until 21st April 2025 could only be used at lunch time. Items purchased at break time were not included in the allowance. From 22nd April that will change with our new catering provider, Mellor's Catering Ltd enabling students to spread the allowance across break and lunch, please note that over limit spending will still be charged to the account and will require payment, please discuss menus and tariffs with your child to ensure that they maintain a balance that you are happy with
